Product Details
This self-contained intercom unit is typically used at an entrance door, and is perfect for home or business environments.
How It Works
When its call button is pressed, the Doorchime Box sends chime tones to designated extensions. The user lifts the handset to speak with the visitor. Users can also initiate a call to the Doorchime Box.
Installation
The Chime Door Box Phone can only be connected to an analog station port on an 8-Port Digital/2-Port Analog Station Card.
Cannot be connected to the 8-Pt Analog Station Card.

NEC DSX 80 / 160
To use a Door Phone with the DSX 80 or 160, it requires a Doorbox/Audio Interface Adapter. The maximum number of Door Phones depends on the availability of digital station ports.
NEC DSX 40
The DSX-40 comes with 2 built-in Door Box ports and 2 relays. The relays provide a dry contact that can open a door or gate. You can use up to 2 Door Phones on the DSX-40 right out of the box. You can also expand the number of Door Phones by adding a Doorbox/Audio Interface Adapter. The maximum number of Door Phones depends on the availability of digital station ports.
Notes
Although the Doorchime Box is weather-resistant, it is not water-proof!
